Can I draw my own Ring design and have a jeweler make it?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum, and I've been searching for days online for artists or jewelers that would take a design I have in mind and help me turn it into an amazing ring. Every time I search, my search always gets overloaded with these websites that help you "design" your own ring, but thats not what I want.
I have a drawing and a great idea for an engagement ring for my girlfriend, but I'm really having trouble finding someone who will make it for me. Do jewelry designers even do that, let you design your own ring? And any recommendations for jewelry designers in or near Brooklyn?
