Today,More and more global jewelry agents and distributors prefer to wholesale jewelry from China, because the jewelry made in china is in large quantity, a wide variety and innovative fashion design. The most important is that it provides a low price and a good quality.

According to the latest authoritative data, China has became the most important jewelry market around the world, more than that, it is also the most important global jewelry manufacturing center.

well, I'm not from china and I've never been to china, but I'd like to visit.
I do hear, though, that the asian markets right now are extremely strong in all industries including jewelry and I imagine we will soon need to pay more and more attention to the demands of these customers.

iv talked with some of my appraisers about gems comming out of china & other countries & was told that more fakes [faux] stones are showing up for sale as authentic material-some gem dealers, small portion, are finding ways to diffuse or manufacture certain stones, ruby, spinel, garnets, almost any colored stones so the buyer beware, thats why appraisers are a little more necessary in todays market, good licensed appraisers with a good track record. iv had several bad stones uncovered in past several years-steve...

Well, I will probably disappoint a lot of you here.  Since I make jewelry, I am not all that fond of importet jewelry from China.
It's a matter of fact I am ALL for buying in America.  However, the way things are nowadays, regardless what you buy, not much is made in the great USA anymore and most of it comes from China anyway, outsourced to China, etc.  -  It's sad!  Sad
Granted, things from China are less expensive, but not everything is about money. A lot of times items are not exactly what they say it is, either. I have not bought any supplies from China direct (knowingly) and will avoid it.

Greetings

to be honest, yes, China is a choice
wholesale silver jewelry from china, the quality can't be compared with America one, but it is still a choice, because the price.
you know not many people so rich, but they still need fashion n looks good. So as long as it is a choice, why not ?

A choice it is. But a bad choice. Buying domestic always have the guranteed you seeking. The items never deliver in the quality that you see in the picture.

A choice it is...

I've been seeing a lot of posts recently that China is a good source of wholesale jewelry. I wish I could visit there one day and take a look at some precious pieces of jewelry. I think there's going to be a jewelry trade show this February in Hong Kong. It's not part of Mainland China but it's Chinese colony, I think. Maybe they will be showcasing great collections there. You have to keep in mind that standards in materials are different than in the US. For example we have testers to check for things like lead, and cadmium. Many times items from China are well over our FDA standards. Buying from China is inexpensive depending on the quantity, and is not always the best quality. This is coming from 59 years of experience.
