The Chinese horoscope goes by years and depending on the year you are born you are one of 12 different animals. Monkey, tiger, dragon…

But, in the Western culture we have birthstones and each month is given a certain type of stone. Emerald, amethyst, diamond…

And there is also the Astrological horoscope that relates to the stars and is also based on the month you are born. Leo, Sagittarius, Aquarius…

All three of these give certain strengths, weaknesses and different characteristics of a person born at that time.
Do you know your Chinese horoscope, birthstone or astrology sign? Are any of the supposed personality traits true for you?

I often read my daily horoscope and since I’ve been living in China for the past five years and am asked so often what my Chinese horoscope animal is, I know most of the traits for the monkey.
But, I decided to google all three and see if there were any similarities.
Monkeys – do the most difficult of tasks with the greatest of enthusiasm, concentration, and ease. Even so, they can easily get discouraged and confused and MUST do things their way.
Amythest birthstone- people or ideas can be refreshing and calming.
Aquarius - filter ideas and even feelings through their intellects rather than their emotions, and are able to offer a fresh perspective on any aspect of life. They can be wacky and absent-minded, full of brilliant ideas but prone to highly impractical behaviour.
This actually does sound a lot like me!

I'm Vergio, my Chinese "year" is the year of the Monkey, which just half of it's pros spots me right, and the cons does too, not that I care much. The stone, I think is a Amethyst but I really don't remember.

Horoscopes NEVER had it right ONCE. Don't believe em.

l am Libran, but your sun sign is only one part of your natal chart. l have Leo and Sagittarius to in my chart, which influences my personality so really  you need to see a professional astrologer to get a decent reading.
l was born in the year of the sheep which sucks, because l think it sounds a bit lame. l want to be a dragon, lol!
